WRIGHT by Stacey and Jason Warren

Book One of The GateWrights Trilogy

A million light years from home and thousands of years into the future, the Founders establish a technology-free society on the world they named Iskendar.

Ten thousand years since the Founders arrival, Hypatia Theon, known by the world as The Catalogue for her precise and near perfect memory, readies herself for inauguration as Assistant to the Great Librarian.

In the darkness of the library Hypatia meets Jet, a stranger to Iskendar. He tells her he can slip between the worlds of humanity’s future by creating gates from the words of humanity’s ancient past.

Hypatia is torn by new possibilities and new choices. Should she settle into a life’s path that is influential, comfortable and certain or will the attraction of adventure, of a beautiful stranger, and facing a danger beyond logic win her heart?

WRIGHT is an original speculative fiction by Stacey and Jason Warren. It is the first book in the GATEWRIGHTS TRILOGY and is available on Amazon in Paperback and Digital!

THE WORLDS OF WRIGHT

ISKENDAR

The Catalogue readies herself for her great challenge ascending to the role of Assistant to the Great Librarian.

A local barista, coffee bar owner and self made coffee baron seeks the affection of the next assistant to the Great Librarian.

A stranger sneaks in the night, combing the words of ancient history, looking for a gate that could save the universe.

REGEN

A screeching grind of gears filled the room loud enough to dampen the ever-present noise of the low hum.  When the lever reached the ground a hatch behind Meeko creaked and yawned open slightly.

The wind began whipping her wild red hair.

The light from the open sky and the wind crashed in to greet them.

EFTAL

An ocean was before her and it was filled with blackness a thousand miles wide. They stood upon the edge of a massive cliff. The ground, the cliffs and the rocks below were made of glass.

She could see the noise of the world but something was stealing it away before it could exist.
